"Our brains are plastic, and we have the ability to change and shape them throughout our entire lives,"
Andrew Huberman, a neuroscientist and Stanford University professor.

About the Name

Throughout my years of studying to become a therapist and continuing today, neuroscience research and its images have captivated me. They reveal the beauty and complexity of the brain, with some images almost glowing, offering a powerful visual reminder of the brain's incredible capacity for change. This research provides both scientific proof and hope, showing that our thoughts, behaviors, and environments can reshape the brain, and that within each of us lies a remarkable tool for transformation.

In this image, two neurons interlace, forming connections and providing mutual support for growth in this beautiful, ethereal image. By Nadia Cummins.

My Approach

I provide personalized, trauma-informed support for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, mood challenges, relationship issues, grief and loss, self-esteem, life transitions, stress management, professional burnout, attachment and relational trauma, and more. Every individual’s journey is unique, and my goal is to help you gain new perspectives and strategies that align with your values and aspirations. My aim is to help clients unlock insights, build resilience, and create a path toward a life that feels fulfilling.

A key part of my approach is rooted in attachment theory, which explores how our early relationships shape the way we connect with ourselves and others. These attachment patterns influence our emotional responses, communication styles, and how we navigate relationships. Therapy offers an opportunity to interrupt patterns that no longer serve us and embrace the parts of ourselves that feel true, while also healing the parts that developed as a way of tolerating painful circumstances. By understanding these dynamics, we can cultivate clarity, rebuild self-confidence, and nurture self-compassion, allowing for more fulfilling relationships—with ourselves and others.

If you’ve been wondering whether therapy is the right step for you, I invite you to schedule a free consultation call below. This is an opportunity for us to connect, discuss your concerns, and explore how I can support you on your journey. I offer 50-minute and 90-minute sessions, with sliding scale rates available.  I invite you to book your free 30 min consultation with me today.
